In operation from mid 1644 to June 28, 1645 when the beseiged castle surrendered. Issues can read "OBS CARL" (obsidium → "siege"). Original production is estimated at 2,000-4,000 coins with about 20-30 surviving. Issues include Halfcrowns, Shillings, and Threepences.
