Newark

In operation from late 1645 to May 6, 1646 when the town surrendered. Issues can read "OBS NEWARK(E)" (obsidium → "siege"). Original production is estimated at 5,000-10,000 coins with about 100-200 surviving. Issues include Halfcrowns, Shillings, Ninepences, and Sixpences.
